Andrea Perron is the author of the trilogy "House of Darkness House of Light", the true story behind the 2013 supernatural blockbuster hit film, The Conjuring. She has also co-authored the historically based mystery / thriller "In a Flicker" with George R. Lopez. Her lifelong love, fascination and deep appreciation of those she often refers to as the Galactic Family prompted Andrea to write "A Wonder to Behold: Guideposts for Intergalactic Engagement with Humanity". She is currently writing about her own journey and intense personal fight with cancer, a battle and war she intends to win, expecting it to be published and released in the fall of 2025. Earning a B.A. in Philosophy and English from Chatham College in 1980, Andrea has since pursued a wide variety of eclectic interests over the decades. As a musician, singer and stage actor since early childhood, she spent more than twenty years as a cast member with The Theatre Company of R.I. As an entrepreneur, she's owned two businesses and later became a counselor and the creative arts director at Harmony Hill School. As a lecturer, she has focused all her attention on any phenomena considered paranormal in nature, from metaphysics to spirituality to "ufology", research she became involved with more than fifty years before that term existed. In 2020 she became an ordained minister, answering the call she heard from an overtly persistent Universe. As an outspoken human rights advocate and equally passionate animal rights activist, what she does is always motivated by the "higher love" she describes as "not of this world". Her approach to every endeavor in life includes the best of intentions, striving to spread her positive message and share the pure power of love with all she encounters. It remains her fervent desire to dispel fear, bring peace to our troubled planet and help heal this world of its woes. Hope springs eternal.
